Garage Sale Bugle Gig Bag
This is a Garage Sale Bugle Gig Bag. It will fit most G/F/B-flat "Boy Scout" style bugles, Cavalry/British Style bugles, and, many Pocket Trumpets. However, read below and look at the pictures to make sure this will meet your needs.
All Bugles and Mouthpieces shown in the pictures ARE NOT included, but are strictly for demonstration purposes. The bag has a shoulder strap included. Read the details below to make sure this will fit your needs. If you need a slightly larger size, drop an e-mail and we'll let you know when an updated style is available (hopefully in Late June). I will except returns on this for size mis-match, BUT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR POSTAGE BOTH WAYS and RETURNING IN NEW CONDITION WITHIN A WEEK.
This is a GIG Bags for bugles. Now bugles come in various shapes and sizes, so I spent a bit of effort to shoot pictures and show measurements to see if this bag can fit YOUR bugle. These were originally ordered to sell with our new ScoutBugle.com Centennial Bugle as an option over our standard lightweight case. However the pouch that holds the mouthpiece on the side was about an 3/4" to short for a trumpet style mouthpiece, but works fine for a cornet style mouthpiece. The older US REGULATION Bugles use this smaller size mouthpiece and for those folks this gig bag will work great.
Now the other style bugle this will work for is the "Cavalry style" bugle or British style bugle. Now these also vary in size, so look CAREFULLY at the pictures that show the Cavalry bugle so you KNOW if your bugle will fit. Sometimes I can get e-bay to offer a "click to enlarge" option, sometimes I can't get that to work...so give it a try.
So First, let's say you're looking for a "boy Scout" or Rexcraft Bugle The measuring tape is at about 15"
There's how it looks in the Gig Bag
Here's the difference in Mouthpieces
Here's a Calvary/British Style Bugle (15 " is the tape)
Here's inside the Bugle Case
Here's a Pocket Trumpet
Notice there's some "spare room" with the Pocket Trumpet.
You also have the problem with the side pocket Mouthpiece holder,
But you might add a mouthpiece holder and put that in the main bag.
